We have recently completed an expansion of our Shanghai studio. Side Shanghai now boasts an extra recording facility and expanded office space. 

The primary focus of our recording studios is to deliver authentic audio localization in Chinese for the gaming industry. Recent notable titles supported by Side Shanghai include Sifu, Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Final Fantasy XIV, and The Callisto Protocol.

Our Audio studios in Shanghai first launched in 2016, offering comprehensive solutions for Chinese dialogue management and voice production for game developers and publishers across the globe. This new expansion enables Side Shanghai to add capacity for a larger number of projects while maintaining the exceptional expertise and commitment to game audio excellence that SIDE has built over its 25-year history.

Side Shanghai’s expansion forms the latest in a series of exciting global developments for us last year, which included the acquisition of game sound design and music specialist Vibe Avenue becoming part of Side Montreal, as well as the opening of our new Side Paris and new recording studios in Tokyo.
