We today announced that Charalampos “Harry” Papadimitriou has joined our company as the new Head of Artificial Intelligence. Papadimitriou will be responsible for leading the company’s AI program and developing innovative AI-based solutions across the entire Side family.

With a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis and undergraduate degrees in both Physics and Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Papadimitriou has focused his career at the intersection of new technologies and data science – with respect to how they can both help companies solve complex problems. Previously Papadimitriou headed data science organizations in gaming and entertainment, including at Riot Games’ League Studio and at FanAI.  There, he created new data products and strategies to deliver engaging player experiences, produce revenue-driving opportunities, and identify high-impact growth areas for the business.

“Right now, most technology companies are still trying to figure out how AI impacts their business and how they can best implement AI solutions in their respective industries,” said Papadimitriou. “I believe that with the right support and direction, Side will continue to leverage this technology to up the ante on what it means to be a world class services provider for any company, not just those in the gaming industry.”
